Brief therapy programs

Short term therapy involves strategic work, focused exclusively on the defined problem and on the agreed intervention process. It also involves a concentrated effort of self-work between therapy sessions, with homework and exercises. It’s the kind of effort that you can do in the short run. We work between 4 and 10 sessions. It’s a kind of intervention that solves specific problems but doesn’t dive deep. Some problems respond quickly to intervention, others don’t. That’s something we’ll find out as we work.

My brief therapy programs now are:

  • smoking cessation,
  • phobia treatment (fear of public speaking, fear of flying, fear of height, fear of water, fear of dogs, fear of snakes, dear of spiders, fear of needles, fear of doctors, etc.),
  • sleeping disorders,
  • stress management,
  • coaching for exam success,
  • coaching for career changes
  • coaching for successfully going through the job recruiting process .

Long-term therapy programs

Each person has a rhythm, a life experience, a way of functioning. We work 1 hour a week to change a routine of 24/7 over a lifetime. It’s a constant, long-term effort, a marathon. Or maybe an ultra marathon or a triathlon. It depends on who you are and where you want to get.

Sometimes you start with a short-term goal and find there’s more work to be done there. Other times you already know you have some luggage and you need to offload it.
